CardExchange® Products Release Notes

Release 9.5.1.61 (February 27, 2017)

Using a Magicard Helix or PPC RTP 7500, the card serial number is not stored in the database if a print error happens.

Using an Evolis Zenius or Primacy, the card serial number is not stored in the database if an error happens. This works with Pem;18;s command and the printer supervision disabled in Evolis print center.

Release 9.4.0.40 (April 4, 2016)

Updated the NBS Javelin J230i/Titeng SDK to avoid problems with loading the card into the encoding station.

Avoid that the FinalizePrinting method of the Helix implementation hangs if WaitForPrinter yields an unexpected return code.

Added the missing support to Smart 30 to the printer list.

Solved the hang when a print job with an empty card is sent to the Helix.

Replaced the feed card function with the correct one from MagApi version 3.

Release 9.3.0.37 (October 1, 2015)

Included the correct version of the IDP Smart Printer SDK (SmartComm2.dll).

Release 9.2.0.32 (March 9, 2015)

When a hexadecimal MIFARE® write item was left unmapped in the designer without changing its default value into a valid hexadecimal string, the following error was shown in the main interface: “Could not set value of [...]. {MIFARE® ITEM} is not a valid hexadecimal string.”

Release 9.1.0.0 (September 1, 2014)

Fixed the OmniKey CardMan 5x27 support for MIFARE® Classic and DESFire.

The last option of the master-key settings (Allow future changes of the master key) was not visible in the DESFire wizard.

Release 9.0.8.17 (June 11, 2014)

When adding a MIFARE® read or write definition in the designer, the MIFARE® Classic UID was not added to the mappings drop-down menu until the designer was closed and re-opened.

When encoding a hexadecimal string longer than 1024 characters to a hexadecimal MIFARE® write item, the wrong data was encoded.

Release 9.0.7.16 (May 21, 2014)

The encoder position for Fargo printers was not restored correctly when starting the application and always defaulted to iClass until it was set explicitly in the advanced options.

MIFARE®-reader changes in the four clicks interface were not communicated to the designer and vice versa.

Release 9.0.6.15 (April 10, 2014)

Added a command to deselect the last application at the end of the MIFARE® DESFire encoding process, in order to avoid that card is blocked for one hour after personalization.

Reduced the font size of the text macros from 12 to 4 to avoid failures caused by the fact that they do not fit on the card during magnetic encoding.

Release 9.0.5.13 (March 25, 2014)

When there is a storage item that is marked as print counter and the corresponding database field is used as data source for a MIFARE® write item, printing the same record multiple times caused the wrong value to be encoded for all subsequent cards after the first one.

Release 9.0.1.5 (October 30, 2013)

Since the introduction of support for value files, it was not possible anymore to read data from backup data files, even though the command interface is the same as for standard data files
